Managing margin parameters

Before you proceed, make sure you configured one or more CFD markets. See Managing markets for step-by-step instructions.

Mind that changing margin parameters will lead to recalculation of margin balances of all traders and may cause Margin calls and Stop outs.

Configure Margin ratios

To configure Margin ratio:

Go to Settings > Unified multi asset account.

For desired assets, specify the percentage of the current asset balance on a trader’s account that can be used as a collateral.

Click Save.

The set Margin ratio values are now publicly accessible to traders in the Trading terminal. The traders can enable the assets that they wish to use as a collateral, but they can’t change the set percentage. If the Margin ratio for an asset is set to 0.00%, it won’t be used as collateral even if a trader selects it in the Trading terminal.

Configure Margin call and Stop out levels

To configure Margin level values for Margin call and Stop out triggers:

Go to Settings > Margin call / Stop out.

In the corresponding fields, specify values, in percents, upon reaching which the system will trigger the Margin call or Stop out events.

Click Save.
