The Auto create markets toggle enables the synchronization with B2CONNECT Liquidity Hub and automatic creation of markets added to B2CONNECT. To add markets manually, use the Add market button. To create or bulk update multiple markets at once, use the Upload CSV feature. For step-by-step instructions for these scenarios, refer to Managing markets.

General information

The following information is provided about each market:

Type

The market type.

Possible values:

  • Spot

  • CFD

  • Perpetual


Subtype

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The market subtype, such as FX, Crypto, Metals, and so on.


Base asset

The base asset, which is the first currency in a currency pair.


Quote asset

The quote asset, which is the second currency in a currency pair.


System symbol

The system identifier of a market. For example: spot.eur_usd.

This value is automatically set by the system when creating a market and can’t be changed.


Display name

The market ticker displayed on the BP. For example: EUR/USD.

The maximum length is 50 characters. All Latin and numeric characters, as well as ., ,, /, -, and _ are supported.


Full name

The market full name or description (optional). For example: Euro to US Dollar.

The maximum length is 50 characters. All Latin and numeric characters, as well as ., ,, /, -, and _ are supported.


Group

The Market group in which the market is included.


Trading calendar

The trading calendar applied to the market, specifying a trading sessions schedule.


Amount scale

Applicable to Spot markets only.

The amount precision, which is the number of digits after a decimal separator. Also determines the minimum trade amount.

Supports only integer values in the range from 0 (zero) to 8. For example:

  • 0 (zero) means 1 (no digits after the decimal separator)

  • 5 means 0.00001 (five digits after the decimal separator)

  • 8 means 0.00000001 (eight digits after the decimal separator)


Price scale

The price precision, which is the number of digits after a decimal separator. For example 2 means the following price format: 0.01, and 8: 0.00000001. Also determines the minimum allowed trade price.

Supports only integer values in the range from 2 to 8.


Price deviation

The allowed price deviation for limit orders placed on the market.

Supports decimal values in the range from 0 (zero) to 1, with up to 4 decimal places, for example:

  • 0.1 = 10%

  • 0.01 = 1%

  • 0.001 = 0.1%

  • 0.0001 = 0.01%

If set to 0 (zero), no restriction is applied, the price deviation is ignored.


Min. amount

Applicable to Spot markets only.

The minimum amount allowed for orders placed on the market, in the base asset.

Supports values greater than or equal to 0 (zero), including decimal values up to the number of decimal places specified in the Amount scale field. If set to 0 (zero), no restriction is applied, an order with any amount can be placed.


Min. amount in quote

Applicable to Spot markets only.

The minimum amount allowed for orders placed on the market, in the quote asset.

Supports values greater than or equal to 0 (zero), including decimal values up to the number of decimal places specified in the Amount scale field. If set to 0 (zero), no restriction is applied, an order with any amount can be placed.


Max. order size

Applicable to Spot markets only.

The maximum order amount, in lots, that can be placed and executed.

Supports only integer values in the range from 1 to 10,000.


Slippage rate

The expected slippage, that is, the difference between the expected execution price and the actual one. This value is used as a multiplier to calculate the funds to be put on hold for a market order execution.

Supports values in the range from 1 to 10, including decimal values with up to 4 decimal places. The default value is 1 which means that only the current bid/ask price is put on hold. For example, 1.1 means that the current bid or ask price + 10% is put on hold for each order, to cover the 10% slippage.

Mind that the total amount funds to be held depends on the order parameters and takes into account many conditions, the slippage rate is only one of them.


TTL, sec

The timeout value, in seconds, which is used for the Retry policy.

This value is the sum of TTLi and TTLe. If equals to 0 (zero), the default value of 90 s is applied.


TTLi, sec

The internal timeout value, in seconds, set by the BP Admin.

Supports only integer values in the range from 0 (zero) to 86,400 (24 hours). The default value is 90.


TTLe, sec

The external timeout value, in seconds, received from an LP. This value can’t be edited.


Tick size

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The price change step.

Supports only values greater than or equal to the Price scale. By default, equals to the Price scale. For example, if the Price scale is set to 4, than the Tick size is 0.0001.

If different, then Tick size + Price scale together represent how the prices should be displayed. For example, if the Tick size is set to 0.05 and the Price scale is set to 4, than the price will be displayed as 0.0500.


Max. leverage

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The maximum allowed leverage that can be used for trading.

Supports only integer values in the range from 1 to 10,000.


Allow traders to use only Max. Leverage

Applicable to CFD markets only.

Determines if traders can choose the leverage value.

Possible values:

  • ✔ — traders can only trade with the maximum leverage

  • ✘ — traders can select the leverage when placing orders


Lot size

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The standardized quantity of the base asset per lot.

Supports only integer values in the range from 1 to 1,000,000.


Min. order size, in lots

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The minimum order amount, in lots, that can be placed and executed.

Supports only integer values in the range from 0.00000001 to 1.


Max. order size, in lots

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The maximum order amount, in lots, that can be placed and executed.

Supports only integer values in the range from 1 to 10,000.


Lot step

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The volume change step.

Supports values in the range from 0.00000001 to 1. By default, equals to the Min. order size, in lots.


Swap type

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The fee type charged for holding open positions overnight.

Possible values:

  • Fix

  • Percent

  • Point

Swap long volume

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The swap value for long positions.


Swap short volume

Applicable to CFD markets only.

The swap value for short positions.


Funding start time

Applicable to PF markets only.

The time of the first funding settlement.


Funding interval, hours

The funding settlement interval, in hours.


Auto update market

The toggle indicating whether the market settings are synced with the B2CONNECT Liquidity Hub and updated automatically.


Status

The market status. For possible values, refer to Market statuses.


TR session

The name of a Trading session (LP connection).


TR session status

The current status of a Trading session (LP connection).


MD session

The name of a Market Data session (LP connection).


MD session status

The current status of a Market Data session (LP connection).
