Trading calendars

On this page, you can configure and manage trading calendars that enable you to specify when trading sessions are active and inactive.

While the trading session is inactive, market data is not transmitted, therefore:

  • New orders can’t be placed.

  • Positions can’t be closed.

  • Pending orders can be canceled (including Stop orders).

The calendars can be applied to specific markets, enabling precise configuration of trading schedules for different assets. You can create multiple calendars for granular control.

The system supports default schedules and exclusions, allowing you to set specific trading schedules for particular days, such as public holidays.

Calendars can be edited or deleted at any time. If changes impact an active trading session or a calendar is applied to a market, the system will notify you to prevent issues. To delete a calendar, it should be first unlinked form a market.

For easier management, calendars can be duplicated, facilitating minor schedule adjustments.

Trading schedules are available to traders, and the calendar time zone is mapped to the trader’s local time zone:
